Tryout Letter 2011 - 2012

Thank you for your interest in the Capital United Premier Program. We offer a competitive, fun, yet challenging program where youth players develop and refine their soccer technique, knowledge of the game, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Our teams train two to three times a week, with games on the weekends or during the week. Although players are expected to make the majority of our training sessions and games, we do understand there are school sport commitments, which at times conflict.  We support those who play school sports and incorporate flexibility within our trainings to meet expectations.  Our program registration costs range from $650 (U-8 /10) to $995 for (U-15 /18) players. This fee covers indoor and outdoor facility rental, field maintenance expenses, coaching fees, league fees and registrations, referee fees, goalkeeper training, and equipment.

Tryouts are a combination of skill and small sided game evaluations. Players will be assessed on their technical and tactical skills as well as physical abilities. Several tryout dates have been listed to offer players more opportunity to be evaluated, without the pressure to rearrange summer vacations.  Please check the tryout site prior to attending to ensure all sessions will be hosted as planned.  Additional tryouts may be discontinued for a specific team once all open spots have been taken.  We thank you in advance for considering our program and for attending our tryouts.
